How to reach us, sign in, use Gajan in ChatGPT and manage your data.
Contact us
Write to us about anything: a sign-in problem, a question that looks wrong, your account or your data. If it is about your account, include the mobile number you sign in with.
hello@agarwals.aiSigning in
Gajan signs you in with your mobile number, in one of two ways, from the sign-in page at app.gajan.ai:
- Message us on WhatsApp. Send the message the sign-in page prepares from your phone’s WhatsApp to our number, +91 90199 17201. Your message proves the number is yours.
- Use a code. Enter your number and we send you a six-digit code on WhatsApp. Type it on the sign-in page.
Our WhatsApp number is for signing in, and its replies are automatic. For help, email us.
A device stays signed in for 30 days after you last use it, and for 90 days at most. If we confirm a sign-in you did not make, reply NO to that message: every device and connected assistant signed in with your number is signed out.
Using Gajan in ChatGPT
Connect
In ChatGPT, find Gajan in the apps directory, or ask for UPSC Prelims practice and connect Gajan when ChatGPT offers it. Gajan’s own sign-in page opens: enter your mobile number and the code we send on WhatsApp. A new number creates its free account on the same page. Then allow ChatGPT to use Gajan, and you are back in the conversation.
ChatGPT never sees your mobile number or your code.
Practise
Ask “What should I practise now?” to see Gajan’s sets, and start one. Tap an option or type your answer; you see whether it was right and our explanation, and you can ask ChatGPT to go deeper.
It is the same account as the Gajan app: a set started in ChatGPT carries on in the app, and the other way round. Mock tests, sets you make yourself, revision, Practice stats and your settings are in the Gajan app.
Disconnect
Disconnect at any time from ChatGPT’s own settings, or from Settings › Connected apps in the Gajan app. Our privacy policy explains what a connected assistant receives.
Deleting your data
Email hello@agarwals.ai with the mobile number on your account and the words “Delete my data”. We confirm the request by WhatsApp to that number, then delete your account, profile and learning data within 30 days. The privacy policy has the details.
Common questions
Which exam can I practise for?
UPSC CSE Prelims: General Studies Paper I and General Studies Paper II, also called CSAT.
Where do the questions come from?
You can practise previous-year questions from past exam papers or Gajan Originals—original questions created for exam preparation. They are labelled separately.
Is practice free?
Practice is free forever. Mentor features are free during beta.
Does every set take exactly 10 minutes?
No. Ten minutes is a guide. The time depends on the questions and how long you spend working through them and their explanations.
What does Gajan remember?
Your answers, the time you take and your practice preferences help Gajan understand your progress. It uses that history to choose what needs more practice and what to revisit. You can see what Gajan remembers, update your preferences and remove saved memories.
